Soloft vs Bonsai

Both run your client work: CRM, proposals, invoices, booking and a client portal. Soloft is one flat price with no tiers or per-user seats, and also runs the product side if you sell goods.

Who Soloft is for

Soloft is built for solopreneurs who sell services, products or both and want one tool at one price. Coaches, freelancers, consultants and designers get the full client toolkit: scheduling, proposals, invoices and a white-labeled client portal. Bonsai's Basic plan has no invoicing and its price is per user, so a plan with invoices and the portal is $19 a month per user billed annually, and Premium is $29. Soloft is $39 a month, billed monthly, with everything included. If you also sell products, the inventory, costing and order tools are already there.

Where Bonsai is stronger

Bonsai has time tracking, task management and Gantt views, built for agencies and small teams, plus QuickBooks, Xero and Zapier integrations on Premium. If you bill by the hour or run projects with several people, that depth is a real advantage.

For solo client work, yes: CRM, proposals, invoicing, booking and a client portal. Bonsai lists Basic at $9, Essentials at $19 and Premium at $29 per user per month when billed annually (monthly billing is $15, $25 and $39).
